TEAMWORK (and attraction)

Found in: Leadership Blog

Everything in the Universe is attracted to something else.  Gravity – the force of attraction – is one of the most pervasive realities we know.  A Universe without attraction would be totally chaotic. Water spilling out of oceans, planets drifting willy-nilly, no predictability, no ‘firm ground’.

There’s something profoundly important about this attraction business.  About relationship.  About connectedness.  About being part of something bigger.  Being a team member.

One of the things I love most about working at MCC is the sense of being a team, a family, a group of-like-minded people who love each other, support each other, learn from each other and want the best for each other.

It’s pretty clear we’re meant to hang in there Together all the time but especially when the going gets rough. As a Christian staff we our bound together in God’s love. Together we are more than a group of individuals, but rather a living, breathing organism that cares for and wants the best for our students and their families.

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.  Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
