Before and After School Sport activities commence this week at the Primary Campus.
Before School Sports: Before school sport kicked off this morning with Athletics. Every Wednesday morning from 7:00 - 7:45 a.m., students from Pre-Primary to Year Six will be trained in Turbo Javelin, Long Jump, Shot Put, Tee- Ball throwing, Sprinting and Short Distance running. Agility, strength, speed, flexibility and discipline will feature throughout the term as we prepare students for the up-and-coming House and Interschool Carnivals. A fantastic and hearty breakfast of cereal, toast and spreads, juice and fresh and canned fruit is served after every practice. What a great way to start the morning! We would like to encourage all enthusiastic athletes to participate this term. We anticipate a very large turnout. Thanks again for all the parental support during breakfast and if other parent helpers would like to assist during breakfast (7:50 – 8:20 a.m.) please let me know.
After School Sports: After School Sport begins today and will continue until Week Nine each Wednesday and Friday from 3:20 – 4:20 p.m. Students from Pre-Primary to Year Six have the wonderful opportunity to become involved in a variety of specialised programs including Basketball (with Phil Croot), Gymnastics, Soccer and an Athletics program. More information will be provided with regards to our gymnastics program (which will take place every Friday) and we encourage all students from Year Three - Six who are interested in Basketball to be available every Wednesday.
