Before School Cross Country Training

From 7:00 a.m. every Wednesday morning, large numbers of Primary students have been eagerly involved in the Cross Country training program this term.

Primary/IMG_1361.JPGOver 30 students have been present for each session and have been training hard by working on their strength, stamina and strategies for running in the up and coming House and Interschool Cross Country events. After every session, a hearty and balanced breakfast is provided for every student. Cereals, fruit, pancakes, toast, juice and a variety of spreads fill the tummy, nourish the body and prepare their minds for the day.

It has been a real blessing to have so many parents willingly involved in the program this term by helping on the course and setting up and serving breakfast. We would like to thank Mrs Siebermaier, Mrs Osborne, Mr De Vries, Mr and Mrs Warden, Mr Blackwell, Mrs Steyger and all the other parents who facilitated the breakfast, were present and brought their children down to be a part of the program.

Next week will be our last session for our Cross Country training. Next term, we will continue with Before School Sports by having an athletics program every Wednesday morning with a similar breakfast provided. Thanks for all your hard work in making this a wonderful program this term.
