Mundaring Christian College offer two enrichment programs for students in Year Five - Eight; Adventure Through Time and Junior Latin.
Both programs will be facilitated by Mr Stephen Hurworth and Mrs Serena Georgiades.
Mr Hurworth studied liberal Arts at the University of Cape Town in his native South Africa and is also a graduate of Charles Sturt University where he studied learning technologies. Combining a love of classics with technology Mr Hurworth established St Augustine's Classical Christian College as a private tutoring college in Perth in 2008 providing online classes for private and home-educated students. In January last year Mr Hurworth began working at Mundaring Christian College teaching History and developing an enrichment program. He is passionate about providing ‘broad knowledge’ so that students learn to connect with the great stories and ideas of the past. Mr Hurworth believes that the study of great literature of the past enables students to be better prepared for the future and make wiser life choices.
