The year officially ended on Tuesday, for the Primary students, but it was really Monday night, with the Celebration Night, that felt ‘this is it’!

So much has happened during the year, and so much worth celebrating.

The student awards were maybe given to a handful of students, but everyone there had achievements they could be proud of, everyone developed new skills and everyone worked hard during the year.

I, therefore, want to say well done to all students and thank you for a great year. Schooling is not always easy, or about always achieving the best results straight away – and it is definitely not about never making mistakes.  It is filled with that which calls for perseverance and resilience, it is about getting there in the end, about ‘becoming’ and developing the best you, you can be.  It is about making friends for life and enjoying the journey.

The nativity production showcased the whole school – the quality of young people we have and their ability to work together and celebrate together - and to finish with a big bang.

I want to wish everyone, students, parents and staff a wonderful Christmas, filled with blessings of peace and joy, and wonderful family time too.
