On Friday 1 February, friends of MCC ran our annual Meet, Greet, Eat event at our Parkerville Campus.
With a new year comes new students, parents, and staff. Our annual Meet, Greet & Eat event provides all our new and current students, parents and staff the opportunity to meet and connect. Building community is what we are about at Mundaring Christian College and we are glad to see that we had another successful event launching into 2019.
Here is an article written by two of our Secondary students;
4 o’clock was when it all started. When you first arrived at the extraordinary new campus our eyes were drawn to a big red slide that our Primary students seemed to love. Of course, being the mature students that we are, we loved Mr Whippy. As the night started, games like giant Jenga were played. As you exceeded down to the lower oval, the main attraction was the two bucking bulls. This provided students the opportunity to verse their friends, bringing the competitive side out in everyone. Next to that attraction was the Velcro Wall. Here you got dressed up in a Velcro suit and jump on to a wall that you could stick too.
Later in the night, they opened the dunk tank. This was when the students got their chance to take revenge on that teacher that gave them too much homework. We dunked all the teachers but at the end of the night they got their revenge and the kids were dunked. To sum up this night it went very well with lots of fun and attraction.
