Open Parent Committee Meeting

Found in: News

Welcome to 2018! My name is Andrew Bailey and I am the current Chair of the MCC Parent Committee.

I have been involved with Mundaring Christian College for 8 years now and in some ways, coming back after Christmas was like coming home. I got to see so many friends, teachers and students. It was lovely! There are so many of us that identify with MCC, the people, the College… it’s our community.

As our own unique community, we don’t want this college to simply be like other schools. We want to strive for much more than that. We want to continue to strive to look after one another, putting others first, looking after those who are not as strong, as fast or academic as well as extending those who are, and building strength of character into each and every one of our students. Here at MCC, we want to encourage everyone; parents and student alike, to belong to this community.

If you are unsure about the way to approach the College about any issue, please feel confident to contact either the College Office or members of the College Parent Committee who are also there to help answer any questions you may have.

You are invited to our first Open Forum Parent Committee meeting on Tuesday 27 February at 7.00 p.m. at the Parkerville Campus. These meetings are designed to address important issues raised by the College community, rather than issues particular to an individual. Feel free to email mccparentcommittee@scea.wa.edu.au  for further information. In accordance with the SCEA protocol for these meetings, please send questions you would like answered at the meeting to our committee email. This will give opportunity to have the questions reasonably answered by relevant staff in the correct context.
