On Wednesday 25 September we will celebrate Grandparents Day at the Primary Campus.
Grandparents, surrogate grandparents, and parents are invited to join us for the morning from 9.00 – 11.15am.
The Grandparents Day activities will begin with an Assembly in the Undercover Area at 9.00am. During the Assembly students will present some musical performances for our guests to enjoy, and maybe even participate in!
Following the Assembly, our guests are invited to join their grandchildren in their classrooms where they will assemble and decorate kites with the children. The morning will conclude with Morning Tea on the oval and a chance to fly the kites together. During Morning Tea we will take a photo with the drone of everyone seated on their picnic rugs on the oval. Following Morning Tea, prizes will be awarded for the most creative kite design in each year group. Grandparents and guests may leave at 11.15am, and the normal school day will resume.
Details for the day are as follows:
Date: Wednesday 25 June, 9.00 – 11.15am
To bring: Picnic rugs or folding chairs for Morning Tea on the Oval
Food: Please bring Morning Tea to share
Parents, we would appreciate it if you could please pass this invitation onto your child’s grandparents, or significant grandparent-figures. Younger siblings in your family are also welcome to join us for the day.
