Secondary Inter-School Cross Country

Posted by Mr Phil Croot and Mr Levi Roslin | Found in: News

Early last Thursday morning the interschool cross country team travelled to Perry Lakes Reserve to compete in the largest ACC interschool event of the year.

Around 3,500 competitors from over 75 schools from across the state were in attendance, some travelling from as far as Carnarvon. A big thank you to the students who represented the College and a special thanks to Angie McRobbie and Melena Peacock for their support.
There were some excellent MCC performances, including Jono V. finishing 18th overall in U16 Boys, Bethany HW. finishing 31st overall in U15 Girls and the U15 Girls team finishing a combined 7th overall in their division. We were really pleased to see 15-20 students regularly attending Wed/Fri morning training, and their hard work paid off with significant improvement in the team’s overall performance this year, finishing 40th out of 76 schools
