At our Primary Campus, we have recently started a project aligned with the “You Can Do It” program running across both campuses. The “Tree of Success” is to encourage our students to remember and celebrate their successful moments.
Our Year 5-6 students are encouraged to write down which key to success helped them achieve their goals. These successes are then written on the back of a leaf and hung on a tree outside for all to read and thus celebrate with and encourage one another!
Here are what two of our students have written;
“Confidence - I’m new to this school and at first I was scared that I wasn’t going to many any friends. But I still came and I LOVE it here! ”
“Resilience - At my old school I got bullied but at this school everyone’s nice.”
It’s really encouraging to see new students happy at MCC and making new friends!
