Here are some tips from Coby in Year 5 to help you with your basketball shooting skills:

Just remember 'BEEF' Balance, Elbow, Eyes, Follow through.

  1. Balance: you need to be balanced before you shoot.
  2. Elbow: your elbow needs to be tucked in.
  3. Eyes: look at the back of the ring before you shoot.
  4. Follow through: when you shoot you want to extend your hand after your shoot.

Now, here are som cricket tips from Tom in Year 5:

First tip: Keep your eye on the ball until the ball comes off the bat
Second tip: When you're bowling, if you're trying to be a fast bowler its more about how fast your arm swings not the run up
Third tip: When catching, cup your hands and don’t be afraid of the ball because if you flinch there is more of a chance to get hit by the ball
