What's In Your Lunchbox?

Having a healthy, nutritious lunchbox is a big part of being fit and healthy!

Having a nutritious lunchbox also gives you lots of fuel to help you concentrate in class!

We interviewed some students about what being healthy means to them.

Bailey, Year 3

What does being healthy mean to you?
Eating fruit and vegetables.
Why is being healthy important?
You will not have energy and you will not be strong if you don't.
Do you have a healthy nutritious lunch box?
I usually have two tubs of fruit.
Do you have lots of fruit and veggies in your lunch box?
Yes, I have lots of fruit in my lunch box.
Do you have crunch and sip?
Yes I love crunch and sip.

Why is healthy eating important?
So you can be strong and big.
What does healthy eating mean to you?
It helps me and If you don’t you die and get sick.
Do you have a healthy lunch box?
Yes.
Do you have lots of fruits and veggies in your lunch box?
No.
Do you have crunch and sip?
Yes I have fruit with my class. My favourite fruits are oranges and strawberries.

What does healthy eating mean to you?
Healthy eating means not eating junk food and fast food, and eating vegetables and fruit.
Why is healthy eating important?
Because if you don’t you will become unfit.

Yes.
Do you have lots of fruits and veggies in your lunch box?
Yes.
Do you have crunch and sip?
Yes I normally have an apple or a carrot or cucumber.
