A night filled with joy, laughter, dancing and astonishment over how well the year 12's cleaned up.
At 4:30 pm we arrived at the Hannen-William's resident to kick off the night with photographs taken by the brilliant Mr Pethick. The parents stood tall looking gratified as they watched their now grown children intermingling with their peers for this milestone.
After a few hours of photographs, food and drinks, with the student's egos now inflated, it was time to pile into our mostly fancy cars and make our way to Pinelli Estate.
We arrived at Pinelli at 6:30 pm, where a red carpet and the teachers and admin were there to greet us.
After more photos were taken with teachers and students we were then asked to move inside and take our seats where we were served all three of our delicious courses.
The rest of the night was filled with dancing, laughter and closed with an inspiring speech from Mr McNeil. Gifts were delivered to each student by Mrs. Green and our commander and chief as a token remembrance of our college life.
A big thank you to the organising committee, teachers and other staff members involved and the Hannen-Williams for their warm hospitality for opening up their home to us.
Over the course of many years of memorable events, this one seemed to exceed them all. What an amazing group of people to celebrate such a pivotal event in our lives.
