On Thursday the 5th of August, Mundaring Christian College Secondary School held its annual Inter-house Athletics Carnival at Ern Clark Athletics Stadium. After weeks of rain, we were very excited to wake up to a beautiful sunny day, ready for an outstanding day of athletic competition. This was our first year hosting the event at the athletics stadium and was a great experience for everyone involved. Despite putting in the extra travel time and the great response from the students we managed to complete all the scheduled events. Based on the performances on the day, we have selected our School Team that will be representing MCC at the ACC Carnival on Friday 3 September. We are looking forward to a great day’s athletics at the inter-school event.

Dunn-Scott ended the day victorious, edging Hedley with 30 points in the last event. With 12000 points up for grabs, every competitor counted and eventually made the difference. Congratulations to everyone and thanks for a great day!
