Students Bethany & Chloey share on Primary Book Week

Let’s open a new book to find a new adventure…

On Wednesday the 25th of August we celebrated Book Week! Bethany’s mum, Mrs. Blackwell did some watercolour painting with every class in the school. She taught us that it is supposed to be messy and not neat. We painted pictures of gumboots and plants from her book that she illustrated called “ELLIES WELLIES”.

The whole day was fun and exciting. We also got dressed up and had a parade. Bethany got dressed up as Karan from the Babysitters Club and Chloe got dressed up as wolf girl. Even the teachers got dressed up too!

It was an amazing day filled with activities to celebrate books.
