In Week 8, our Primary Campus celebrated Harmony Week, a fun-filled week dedicated to celebrating different cultures within Australia and worldwide. The week’s highlight was the International Food Fair on Thursday, where students wore free dress with a ‘touch of orange’ and made and shared food from a country of their choice. Each class prepared and served dishes from their selected country and created beautiful decorations to adorn their stalls.
Students received a ticket to sample food from various countries, including Australia, Vietnam, France, Britain, Mexico, the United States, China, Italy, and Canada!
The Year 3B class presented an assembly item on Friday to wrap up the celebrations. The class reflected on the Bible verse from Psalm 139:14: “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” It was a very special week, and we hope all children remember their worth in God and know they are His unique, greatest creation.
