Partnering with Parents to Support Your Child

The Secondary Campus recently held a New Parents Information Night, a valuable opportunity for parents to connect with the College. Principal Doug Holtam addressed parents and students, emphasising the College’s commitment to partnering with parents to achieve the best student outcomes. He spoke about how all children are gifted in their own way and how important it is for students to take up every opportunity in the secondary to explore and develop their God-given gifts.

The Secondary Leadership team covered a few key areas, including the College’s wellbeing program, student support services, the importance of homework, and ways parents can assist their children from home with their learning and wellbeing. Additionally, we discussed the Secondary Assessment Policy, ensuring that families are well-informed on how assessment practices are structured.

We are excited to continue working with parents to foster an environment where every student can thrive. Thank you to all who attended and contributed to the evening’s success.
