Primary House Swimming Carnival: A Splashing Success!

On Wednesday, 19 March, the Year 1 – 6 students participated in the Annual House Swimming Carnival at the Bilgoman Aquatic Centre.

It was an action-packed day full of energy and strong team spirit as students cheered on their houses and competed in various events.

After a thrilling day of competition, Hedley emerged as the winners with 527 points!

A special congratulations goes to the following students, who broke records during the carnival:

  • Louis S. (Year 6) – Set new records in 25BA and 25FR.
  • Jacques C. (Year 5) – Broke multiple records in 50FR, 50BA, 50BR, 25FR, and 25BA.
  • Ellie S. (Year 5) – Set new records in 50FR, 50BA, 50BR, 25FR, and 25BA.
  • Harlan C. (Year 4) – Broke records in 25BA and 25FR.
  • Owen C. (Year 4) – Set a new record in 50BR.
  • Cailyn S. (Year 4) – Broke records in 25BA, 25FR, and 50BR.
  • William S. (Year 3) – Set new records in 25BA and 25FR.
  • Theodore D. (Year 3) – Broke the 25BR kick record.
  • Leandi C. (Year 3) – Set new records in 25FR, 25BA, and 25BR kick.

Congratulations to all swimmers for their impressive performances, and a huge thank you to Mrs Lisa Sursok for organising such a great event. We can’t wait to see what next year’s carnival will bring!
