Bus Routes

School Bus Service (Orange Bus)

Three ‘School Bus Service’ (Orange Bus) routes operate to Mundaring Christian College – routes from MORANGUP (via Toodyay Road), CLACKLINE (via Bakers Hill, Wundowie, Wooroloo,  Chidlow, Mt Helena, Stoneville and Parkerville) and GIDGEGANNUP.

All routes go to the Mundaring Christian College Parkerville Campus, where students from the Clackline and Gidgegannup bus can then transfer to the Morangup bus, which continues to the Mundaring Christian College Primary Campus in Mundaring.

Student Transport Assistance may be available from the School Bus Service / Public Transport Authority. Find out more and apply at www.schoolbuses.wa.gov.au.

College Ran Local Buses

We are pleased to advise that we have now updated our current bus runs to include four new bus runs,  available exclusively for Mundaring Christian College students.

The Bus routes are as follows:

  • Route 1 – Kalamunda/Swan View: Servicing Kalamunda, Gooseberry Hill, Maida Vale, Helena Valley, Boya, Bellevue, Swan View, Greenmount, & Parkerville.
  • Route 2 – Darlington: Servicing Darlington, Glen Forrest, Mahogany Creek, & Mundaring.
  • Route 3 – Chidlow: Servicing Chidlow, Sawyers Valley, Mount Helena, & Stoneville.
  • Route 4 – Campus Shuttle: Running between both campuses.

Registrations for the Kalamunda/Swan View service and the Darlington service are now open.

Please register your child via the College Office. The fees for the services are $200 per term.

Families with more than one child registered on the three longer bus routes will be charged a pro-rata rate for additional children, as follows: First child ($200.00 per term), Second child ($160.00 per term), Third and subsequent child ($120.00 per term).

Transport for students needing travel between Campuses will continue, and the cost of that service is $75.00 PER STUDENT PER TERM.  The cost for each service is applicable regardless of the frequency of use and will be charged to your tuition account at the commencement of the service. Prorata rates are not available for the shuttle service.

All buses use a Management System called Rollcall. This is an automated system that allows students to log on/off the buses and has an associated Parent app, that allows parents to track the bus, and see if their child is logged onto the bus. Students will require a College Smartrider to access the system.

Students may need a Smart Rider to travel on the above buses.  Applications forms can be downloaded here and submitted to the College Office.  The card costs $5 per student and can be added to your tuition account.
